COLOMBO — Sri Lanka’s higher education landscape is set for a historic transformation following the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ANC Education and the University of West London (UWL). The agreement officially paves the way for the establishment of the country’s very first fully-fledged UK branch campus.
The historic signing ceremony took place at the ANC Auditorium in Colombo 03, marking a monumental evolution of a highly successful 12-year partnership. Since 2013, the ANC-UWL collaboration has already produced over 5,000 successful graduates, equipping them with world-class, UK-standard qualifications.
A Milestone for the Nation
The event was attended by a distinguished gathering, including the British High Commissioner, top-tier leadership from UWL, and ANC directors, faculty, and students. The overwhelming enthusiasm from attendees and the media underscores the profound impact this branch campus will have on the future of Sri Lankan education, offering local students unprecedented access to a global degree right at home.
“This initiative represents a massive leap forward, expanding on a robust foundation to deliver world-class academic excellence directly to Sri Lanka’s future leaders.”
